Product Description

IP Camera Surveillance
IP Video Surveillance put simply, is the transmission of video that utilizes open internet protocols and standards for the purpose of recording and monitoring clips.
What is an IP camera?
IP cameras or network IP cameras stream live video via digital packets across an internet protocol network such as a LAN (Local Area Network) or the Internet. The benefit of network cameras, is that they reside on IP networks; the video streams can then be accessed and stored remotely. This enables users to view and/or manage the IP cam using a standard web browser or video management software from different locations, giving businesses increased flexibility. For example: Let's say you own three retail stores, but only own a single DVR, at the flagship location. Rather than purchasing two ADDITIONAL DVR systems, you could install IP cameras at the other two locations instead. The IP cameras will stream their video feeds to the DVR located at the flagship store via the internet; The DVR will display these feeds in it's software interface, seamlessly integrating the IP camera video with that of the local cameras connected to the DVR.
Or a client can login using the free NVR software to remotely record to the client PC.
A third recording option is directly on an SD card (not included with purchase), which can be inserted inside the camera.
IP cameras are ideal for customers that need surveillance at multiple locations, who'd like to save time and money by administering them from a single DVR or Client NVR system.
